University canteens

Below is a list of the catering centres for university students enrolled at the University of Genova or on an AFAM course in Liguria.

There are four university canteens in Genova open to all students. University students attending courses in Savona can access the Campus canteen.

Aliseo has set up agreements to allow students enrolled at the ‘Scuola di Scienze mediche e farmaceutiche’ (‘School of Medical and Pharmaceutical Sciences’) who are attending a course or internship at the main hospitals in the Liguria region to access hospital canteens.

The catering service is located on the ground floor of the “Casa dello Studente” in Corso Gastaldi 25 in Genova and is close to the School of Medical and Pharmaceutical Sciences, the Engineering Department and the Computer Science Department of the Polytechnic School and the School of Mathematical, Physical and Natural Sciences.

The canteen has two self-service lines, no. 270 seats and is air-conditioned.

The Bar Brignole is located in Piazzale Emanuele Brignole 2, at the Albergo dei Poveri, home to the Law and Political Science Departments.
It is a bar-cafeteria-sandwich shop that provides students with an alternative to traditional lunches. It has 45 seats, air conditioning and Wi-Fi. There is ample public parking for bicycles and motorcycles nearby.

The canteen is located in Pavilion C, ground floor, of the Galliera Hospital.

Only the students enrolled in the Scuola di Scienze mediche e farmaceutiche (School of Medical and Pharmaceutical Sciences) who are doing a course or internship at the hospital can access the affiliated canteen.
Access to the service is via the use of Aliseo meal vouchers that can be purchased at the Gastaldi canteen.

ISTITUTO GIANNINA GASLINI CANTEEN

The Istituto Giannina Gaslini canteen is inside the building located between Pavillion 16 and Pavillion 17, on floor 1.

Students attending “Infermieristica e Fisioterapia” (nursing and physiotherapy) courses at the La Spezia Polo can access the canteens of the La Spezia ASL 5 hospitals.

In Bussana (Im), a catering centre is available at the ASL1 Imperiese educational centre. Students of the University of Genova enrolled in ‘Scienze Infermieristiche, di Fisioterapia e Radiologia’ (Nursing, Physiotherapy and Radiology) courses can access the service by using Aliseo meal voucher.
The meal vouchers can be collected and paid for directly on site.
