The catering service is aimed at all students enrolled at the Università degli Studi di Genova and the Ligurian AFAM institutions (Institutions for High Artistic, Musical and Coreutic Education).

The following may also access the catering service:

a) students participating in international mobility programmes;
b) students enrolled at other Italian or foreign universities who are in Genova temporarily for study purposes;
c) scholarship holders from public or private institutes or research bodies participating in study activities;
d) university professors and staff, also coming from other Universities;
e) any users affiliated with or authorised by the Aliseo.

To eat at university canteens you have to use the Aliseo Risto App.

The Aliseo Risto app is available at the Gastaldi, Asiago, Darsena and Bar Brignole canteens in Genova and at the Savona campus canteen.

To download and activate the Aliseo Risto App on your smartphone follow the instructions at this link .

To use the app in Aliseo canteens, simply open it when you are in the vicinity of the cash desk: a temporary QR code will be generated automatically.

When paying for the meal, bring the phone screen close to the QR reader of the till. The latter will recognize and apply the rate associated with you.

You can still access university canteens without the Aliseo App, but you will have to show your (virtual) Unige badge and pay an increased tariff (‘Students without the Aliseo Risto App’ rate).

Affiliated hospital canteens

If you are a student enrolled in the ‘Scuola di Scienze Mediche e Farmaceutiche’ (‘School of Medical and Pharmaceutical Sciences’) and you follow a course or an internship at one of the hospital centres with an Aliseo-approved canteen, you can access these canteens using the Aliseo meal vouchers (Aliseo Buoni Pasto).

You can request these by sending an e-mail to ristorazione@aliseo.liguria.it , specifying your full name, university identification number (numero di matricola) and self-declaring the university course you are enrolled in.

Once Aliseo offices have confirmed the day and time of collection, the meal vouchers will be available at the cash desk of the Gastaldi catering centre (Casa dello Studente di Gastaldi in Corso Gastaldi 25, Genova).

This is the procedure for all the affiliated hospital canteens in Genova and Chiavari.

As far as the hospital canteens in Savona, Pietra Ligure, La Spezia, Sarzana and Bussana are concerned, please contact the Aliseo offices by e-mail to agree on how to collect them.

You are entitled to a maximum of no. 2 meal voucher blocks every 30 days.
Each block contains no. 12 meal vouchers.
The meal voucher entitles you to a full meal.

Please note that meal vouchers are strictly personal and non-transferable to third parties. Improper use by other students is punishable under art. 12 of the Provisions for the catering service academic year 2025/2026.
