All students enrolled at the University of Genova (Unige) and the Institutions for High Artistic, Musical and Choreographic Education (AFAM) in Liguria can access university canteens.

Depending on the type of student and the ISEE (Equivalent Economic Situation Indicator) submitted, students can enjoy meals free of charge or at the prices shown in the table below.

These are the rates in effect as of 1 October 2025:

A FULL MEAL (PASTO COMPLETO) includes: a first course + a second course with a side dish + one portion of fruit or a yoghurt or a dessert + beverage on tap (attention: in the Savona canteen side dishes are charged for a separate items)

A REDUCED MEAL (PASTO RIDOTTO) includes: a first course or a second course with a side dish + one portion of fruit or a yoghurt or a dessert + beverage on tap (attention: in the Savona canteen the reduced meal includes a first course + a side dish + beverage on tap or, alternatively, a second course + one portion of fruit or a yoghurt ora dessert + beverage on tap

Students enrolled for the academic year 2025/2026 must submit their application exclusively online between 1 October 2025 and 31 May 2026 in order to access the subsidised rates, entering their ISEEU income or, for foreign students, their ISEEU Parificato which is issued free of charge by the CAAFs affiliated with ALISEO.

Students enrolled in other non-curricular courses can access the catering centres at the full price of € 8.00.
