Accomodation ranking lists

With a determination under approval, the provisonal rankings for accomodation first years UNIGE-AFAM and provisonal rankig list for confirmations and new request PHD and specialisation courses are published.

Please note that, as indicated in Article 19.5.2 of the notice, students who have been found “Eligible” will be given priority over students who have been found “Suspended” when allocating accommodation.

In the event of suspension, you can check the reason directly on the student webdesk.

The following outcomes are possible in the provisional accommodation rankings:

a)  Idoneo: students who meet the requirements set out in this Notice and who may therefore be accommodated if places are available, following acceptance;
b) Suspended: student who for particular situations can rectify their position in order to be qualified as eligible in the final ranking. The condition must be rectified by 19/10/2026 under penalty of exclusion from the competition, except for a student who:
✓ is undergoing an official check;
✓ is suspended for ‘undeclared foreign income’ as he/she must apply for ISEEUP certification (the position must be rectified by 31 December 2026);
✓ suspended for “not registered” (the position must be regularised by 31 December 2026 or by 10 March 2027 if he/she has applied as a first year Master’s Degree student).
The student who results ‘Suspended’ will be contacted for the allocation of accommodation once he/she has regularised his/her position, and within the limits of the availability of accommodation, with the exception of students enrolled in the first year of a Master’s degree course who are in Suspended status due to ‘non- enrolment’.
c)Non idoneo: students who do not meet the requirements set out in this Notice.

Please also note that the Accommodation Service sends requests for expressions of interest in accommodation to eligible students at the email address provided by the student in the online application, following the order of the ranking list and based on availability as per at. 20.1 of the notice. If an eligible student does not receive a request for expression of interest, it means that there are no more places available and they must wait for any changes. Students who have been awarded scholarships and are eligible but have not been allocated accommodation due to a lack of availability may be granted a rental contribution supplement in accordance with Article 22 of the call for applications.
