ELECTION OF STUDENT RESIDENCE REPRESENTATIVES FOR THE 2025/2026 ACADEMIC YEAR

By Determination No. 361 of October 28, elections for student representatives are called, according to the procedures indicated below:

THE ESSENTIAL REQUIREMENTS FOR THE RIGHT TO VOTE ARE:

• be regularly enrolled for the 2025/2026 academic year in bachelor’s degree programs, single-cycle master’s degree programs, or second-cycle master’s degree programs, specialization schools, PhD programs, or AFAM courses;
• be assigned a bed in the residence facility for the current academic year (2025/2026);
• be in compliance with the provisions of the Provisions on University Residences, in particular not to have any debts to the Agency and not to have received disciplinary sanctions greater than a written warning.

THE ESSENTIAL REQUIREMENTS FOR ELECTION ARE:

• be regularly enrolled for the 2025/2026 academic year in bachelor’s degree programs, single-cycle master’s degree programs, or second-cycle master’s degree programs, specialization schools, PhD programs, or AFAM courses;
• be assigned a bed in the residential facility for the 2025/2026 academic year;
• be in compliance with the provisions of the University Residence Regulations, and in particular not have received any sanctions greater than a written warning for the current academic year, nor have any outstanding debts to the Agency;
• not have already been student representatives in both of the last two terms prior to the election.

The names of candidates and scrutineers must be submitted by email to the following address: protocollo@aliseo.liguria.it by 12:00 noon on November 21, 2025.

Rights and duties of student representatives:

Article 15, paragraphs 8 and 9 of the provisions state:

8. It is the duty of the Representatives to make observations on the quality of the services of the Residence and on community life, as well as to promote and organise, with prior authorisation, cultural and sporting activities and also propose solutions to improve community life.

9. Representatives of students of the residences may be invited by the institution whenever it is considered useful for the purpose of acquiring information on the performance of services and to collaborate in the formulation and implementation of proposals for improving the services themselves.

Specifically:

• It is the responsibility of the Student Representation to maintain relations with residence managers, including scheduling meetings or communications every two months to provide updates on the general progress of community life and/or communications sent by central offices.
• It is the responsibility of the Representative to collect opinions, surveys, and information (including at the request of the offices or residence managers) from students living in the residences on various topics.
• It is the responsibility of the Representative to communicate to students living in the residence, including through non-institutional channels (WhatsApp groups, notice boards, etc.), useful information on cohabitation, notices, communications relating to cultural and sporting activities, information on catering services, and other information that may be provided by the relevant offices.
• It is the responsibility of the Representatives to convene any meetings of residence students, subject to the authorization of the Residence Manager.
  It is the responsibility of the Representatives to be aware of the regulations and to collaborate with Aliseo staff in publicizing and complying with these rules.
• Please note that the Representatives of students staying in the Residences may request an appointment with the central offices to collaborate in the formulation and implementation of proposals for improving the services themselves.

To encourage this task, ALiSEO will give elected representatives the following benefit in the 2025/2026 academic year:

36 meal vouchers to be used exclusively at our university canteen in Corso Gastaldi 25 by July 31, 2026.
