ALiSEO manages university residences in Genoa and 1 in Savona available to students attending the University of Genoa and the AFAM of Liguria.

The university residences are divided into:

• Student Houses, equipped with single and double rooms, all with bathroom and equipped for the disabled. Inside there are study rooms, internet classrooms, laundry service and restaurant service;
• Residences, with single and double beds, equipped with shared kitchen or refreshment point, as well as study rooms, internet classrooms and laundry service.
• Apartments, with single, double, triple and quadruple beds. Some have common areas such as study rooms, internet classrooms and laundry service.

1. ALiSEO provides free laundry service, ironing and exchange service on a fortnightly basis for the bed linen (sheets and pillowcases) provided in the Residences, in special rooms and on the dates set for each of them. The student returns the set of dirty linen and receives the complete washed and ironed set in return. The student is obliged to change the linen at least once a month.

2. A laundry service is also available for a charge for washing and drying linen and personal clothing. Any damages resulting from tampering with the washing machines and dryers (where present), which are not the fault of specific individual students, will be charged to all students with access to the laundry. In the event of repeated tampering, the service may be suspended temporarily or permanently.

3. The service referred to in paragraph 1. is not provided in Residences with flats equipped with washing machines, where two sets of bed linen will be provided to each student at the time of accommodation assignment for the duration of their stay.

4 .In the event that a washing machine is not installed or is out of order, the student will be given the option of using the paid service as mentioned above in the nearest residence.

The housing service is provided to university students attending the University of Genoa and the Institutes of Higher Education in Art and Music (AFAM) based in the Liguria region.

The beds are mainly intended for students who apply for economic benefits and who are therefore in possession of the necessary requirements:

• enrollment at the University of Genoa in degree courses, second level specialized/master’s degree courses, research doctorates or courses of the Institutes for Higher Education in Art and Music – AFAM present in the Ligurian territory;
• off-site residence in relation to the place of the course attended

Particular attention is paid to disabled students. Reserves of beds are provided for the interested students. The Competition Notice for university benefits issued each year by ALiSEO provides in details time schedule, procedures and requirements.

The housing service also manages accommodation with fee for all university students, participants in international mobility projects, PhD students and specialization courses.
