A university residence represents a place with high risk potential with boys and girls coming from all over Italy and all over the world, who move around the city every day, attending the same common spaces.
The guidelines approved by the Conference of the Regions on 11th March last concerning the “service of student residences of institutions for the right to university study” recall that the domicile at university residences is strictly aimed at the attendance of lessons. The same document indicated, among other things, all the actions necessary to ensure that students are accommodated in single rooms or double rooms for single use.
In addition, it is highlighted that it is mandatory to prohibit access to residences by non-residents and, in particular, to study rooms and areas assigned free of charge to support student activities.
The DPCM of April 26th states that face to face teaching activities and attendance of Universities and Institutions of Higher Artistic Musical and Coreutic Training, professional courses, masters, courses for health professions are suspended.
It should be noted that, with regard to displacements, the same DPCM in force from May 4th until June 3rd states that only displacements motivated by proven work needs or situations of necessity or for health reasons are allowed and, in any case, it is forbidden for all individuals to move or move to a different Region than the one in which they are currently located.
Only a few university laboratories have been able to reopen by following all the guidelines defined by the very clear and stringent safety protocols. In fact, open realities are rare and the students who applied, which was confirmed by the University, were able to return to their accommodations.

With the improvement of the situation and the possibility of displacement among Regions, a new phase is now opening.
As you can easily understand, the return of students to their accommodation involves a series of health risks to which it is necessary to pay extreme attention from now on by taking all the necessary measures to avoid any form of infection and spread of the virus within the Residences managed by ALISEO.

Students who have left their university residences and who ask to return can do so as indicated in this document and following the Covid-19 Anti-Contagion Security Protocol approved by the Director General of Aliseo with his decree n. 238 of May 20th/2020.

For all other aspects we will comply, as always, with regional and national regulations and the provisions of the health authorities, in a balance between the right to health and the right to study.
